ALISA 2nd Anniversary Party

ALISA 2nd Anniversary Party

A Night Where the Next Chapter of Japanese Culture Began

On April 24, 2026,
ALISA celebrated its second anniversary with a special evening in Daikanyama, Tokyo.

Held as an official side event of SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, the event welcomed over 140 guests—including artisans, artists, entrepreneurs, creators, and those who deeply resonate with ALISA’s vision.

It was more than a celebration.

It was a special evening where culture, craftsmanship, and human connection came together.

“ALISA is where cultural evangelists are born.”

In the opening session, founder Alisa Yamawaki shared the story behind ALISA and the vision that continues to guide the brand.

Through years of living and working abroad, she came to realize something profound.

Japan possesses beauty that deserves to be celebrated around the world.

Yet the artisans behind that beauty remain largely unseen.
And with them, an entire industry is quietly disappearing.

She made a decision.

To transform traditional craftsmanship into a sustainable global industry.

That belief became ALISA.

Not simply to create products—
but to nurture people who can carry culture forward, share its stories, and inspire the next generation.

ALISA is where cultural evangelists are born.

That vision was once again shared with everyone gathered that evening.

Dialogue Session

Inherited Tradition, Evolving Craftsmanship

One of the highlights of the evening was a special dialogue session with Aki Hirose of Shelby.

Together, we explored a shared question:

How do we inherit tradition while creating the future of craftsmanship?

The stories behind creation.
The responsibility of choice—not only for makers, but for consumers.
And what luxury must become in the years ahead.

It was an honest and deeply meaningful conversation about what it truly means to create with purpose in our time.

More Than Fashion

Throughout the evening, guests experienced ALISA’s creations not simply as garments, but as wearable expressions of Japanese artistry and history.

As they touched the silk, listened to the stories of the artisans, and experienced each piece on their own skin, conversations began to unfold naturally.

At ALISA, to wear is not simply to dress.

It is to carry a story.

It was a night where that value could be felt throughout the room.

To the Next Chapter

To everyone who has supported ALISA throughout these past two years—

our deepest gratitude.

Because of your belief, this journey continues.

And this story is only just beginning.

With every piece we create,
we move closer to a future where Japanese craftsmanship is not merely preserved—

but desired, chosen, and celebrated around the world.

ALISA will continue creating that future.

With love, gratitude, and belief in what lies ahead,
Alisa & The ALISA Team
