Threads of the New Year: Stories of Silk and Sake
This January, Brooklyn Kura and ALISA come together in Brooklyn
for an intimate New Year cultural experience centered on sake and kimono.
This will be an interactive gathering where guests are invited to experience ALISA’s silk pieces through fitting, alongside guided sake tasting and cultural storytelling.
ALISA creates silk garments in collaboration with Japanese kimono artisans, drawing from the aesthetics, structure, and spirit of kimono.
Kimono and sake come together as living traditions — to be worn, tasted, and shared. Join us at Brooklyn Kura for an intimate New Year experience of seasonal traditions, storytelling, and fitting.
